Criminal Charges and Targetted Sanctions
The people in charge of the government of Kuwait decided to just ignore the UN report and which asked them to investigate what happened, discipline the individuals responsible, and compensate me. So, the next step my lawyers in Canada advised, and took, was to go after those responsible directly, under Article 269.1 of the Canadian Criminal Code, the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act and the Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act (Sergei Magnitsky Law).

My lawyers identified ten people who carry criminal responsibility and liable for targetted economic sanctions, most of whom appear on the Main People section of this website:
Four former ministers of interior, under whose watch I was repeatedly imprisoned without charge and tortured:
Jaber Khalid Al-Sabah
Ahmed Homoud Al-Sabah
Mohammed Khalid Al-Sabah
Khalid Jarrah Al-Sabah
And Anas Saleh who held various cabinet posts including Interior Minister
And two former heads of the secretive State Security:
Azhbi Fahd Ahmed Al-Sabah
Mubarak Salem Ali Al-Sabah
And the three main founders and owner-controllers of the Al-Mulla companies:
Anwar Al-Mulla
Abdulla Al-Mulla
Najeeb Al-Mulla
All these ten individuals are identifiable from the UN report.
